If anyone here was, or is still into any PnP games (pencil and paper for those less fortunate), you know its a statistical probability that you will roll the "perfect character". All 18's, 20's, whatever kind of game you're playing.
Anyone ever done that, or come close? Post it here, and PLEASE be truthful! |

We always rolled our chars with stats between fixed ranges, with higher ranges for the important stats for that char (i.e. intelligence for wizards). Kinda like DS really. Kept things fair and fun for all. It's no fun if there's one all-18's guy running around doing everything. |

Well, in the campaigns i played, we all rolled 4D6, and eliminated the lowest number. If your stats, added up, were below a certain number, you got to reroll (those we terrible stats, like nothing above a 10). If you got more than that stat, then you were stuck with those stats for that character.
The best i've had was, i think, 17, 16, 16, 15, 14, 12.
Normally, all dice rolls suck for me. That was an amazing character (Psion, by the way. MEGA-FUN class to play) But, all rolls from then on sucked, haha. Damn you, Karma! |

I've never seen anyone roll perfect high stats, but I have seen someone roll all 13s. He didn't play that character, by the way. He ripped the page up and went off to play Halo instead. Just in case you wondered. |
