hi,
Just testing things out here. Seems like you can die of thirst or hunger before you may ever be able to figure things out...anyway, was trying to order a sandwich from the Inn. She gave me the price (no problem), but that was it...could not "buy" or "purchase" any food while meantime char is starving to death. Bug or bugaboo? |

Try the market a few east of there. Use the list command to see what they have and then buy 1,2,3,4, etc. to purchase what you wish. You can also use the help command for anything else you may need.

The price, if you are trying to buy from Annika you must give her the coins she requested then she'll make the food.

Thank you for your reply. I did give her coins, or attempt to (give 42 coins) any number of times (and any number of variations, eg. give coins 42, give 42) and nothing worked (no sandwich appeared in inventory, no response indicating she actually served me the sandwich and all the time dieing from hunger. No sandwich, nothing. Didn't lose the coins either. |

Alright here are some easy commands that may make your "fun" factor higher.
fill skin fou --- ie fill waterskin fountain
read board --- see what Annika has for sale
say steak sandwich ---- buy steak sandwich, or cake or whatever
give 42 coin Annika ---- Purhcase and recieve steak sandwich
i --- inventory
Never really had any problems with it, but .... stuffs been wierd lately. As far as fighting goes....hey nothing comes easy. Ask around for equipment and you shall recieve 
I drop food off at the fountain all the time, if you like dirty food eat all you want

The creatures in the arena give decent money considering what quick and easy kills they are. They'll keep you provided with enough gold to eat and drink all you want.
If money's that much of a problem, there's free food south of Keltrath as well. There's a pot of stew, some grapes and berries that are all free, you just have to go get them. |
