Confused I tried coming back before, but I had a problem with things not displaying properly. I get things like <DEST Communication>, and it really makes gameplay hard because I have to pick out what is code and what is important. I've tried using different clients, and I even have a new computer now. Is this a common issue, and how can I fix it?

SimpleMU and Zmud are both pretty good in my opinion. Though SimpleMU isn't crazy advanced, its easy to set up timers/triggers/spawns ect ect, and works just fine.

I primarily use Zmud.

But I also recommend Portal for its ease of use for things such as aliases, nicknames, triggers, macros, highlights, etc. You can also set up the communication windows to your preference.

thanks for the quick replys.
I've been putting off using any macros n such till i was set on a client. I hate un-learning... I'm becoming aware though that its a huge world and lots to learn/do. Not using macros is becoming cumbersome so guess I better get with the program =)

thx for the help,

Jaba Mud Client. I love this one. It's simple and easy to use. It's easy to figure out how things work. I have been using it since I stopped using telnet waaaay back in the day. (for a while, I wasn't aware that there were "mud clients" and all I used was telnet. heh.) JMC has come a long way too. I remember the old set ups. But yeah, if you want simple and easy to use, Go with Jaba Mud Client.

By the way, for those of you using MUSHClient (Version 4.19) and are seeing either an echo or the flags, PM me. I downloaded the client, recreated both problems, then found the fix.

Although I highly recommend the other clients mentioned up top. Wink - Rys

We've had a few new players with this issue. Can you post what the fix is?

Thanks!
