It was a simple little challenge. Kill a Militia Guard who had been making vile threats against the crown, and make it out of Tyr alive. Karame's list of enemies was always growing, and this time when Ciroth asked him for a quest, this is what he gave him. Easy, right? Yeah, sure. Easy.

Ciroth didn't like it. He had been through 4 cigarettes already thinking of all the things that could go wrong. This needed more than luck. This needed planning. Thankfully, he had time to do so while riding the cart towards Tyr. Once it got to Tyr's marker, Ciroth didn't move from his seat. He rode back to Keltrath working out a plan, and depleting his cigarette supply.

"Back up?" he thought to himself. Back up always helped, but it would take some special back up to piss off Tyr's guard, which far outnumbered the citizens they were there to protect. Supplies were needed, so he went shopping. He bought a blue potion, two purple potions, and more cigarettes.

Ciroth nodded to himself as he formed his plan. Finnaly he said outloud "Let's do this." To nobody in particular.

He rode the cart to Tyr again, and this time stood up. And walked down the High Road towards Tyr. As he passed the farm lands he drank down the blue potion. No point in being seen. He made his way to Serlene for the usual list of spells for the usual price. The time was at hand. His heart was racing just a bit, as he wandered Tyr's streets looking for his target. He ducked into the Laughing Bull, for a short break. A frown crossed his face, when he decided to step back outside.

"Surprise, surprise." Ciroth thought. There was his target, hanging around the fountain, alone. A quick scan around the area showed no signs of Knights either. This was good. Damn good. Ciroth silently unsheathed his blades. He tightened his grip on their handles and gritted his teeth. With a dexterious move he flipped a dagger in his right hand, so the handle was up, and the blade pointed towards the ground.

He moved around to the guard's back and with disturbing accuracy planted it deeply into his back. The guard coughed up some blood and turned to begin fight his foe. He turned into a stream of dirt which stung his eyes and made them useless for the time being. Ciroth repeatly stabbed the guard again and again spilling blood onto the streets of Tyr.

"TYR IS UNDER ATTACK! TO ME! TO ME!" The guard shouted. Making a lot of noise, and calling for help Ciroth did not want to come.

"SHUT UP!" he screamed as Ciroth finished off the guard. As soon as the guard's dead body hit the ground, Ciroth took off running. Hard and fast running on pure adreline, he ran south from the fountain towards Wild Gate, sheathing his blades as he went.

Ciroth was a quick moving man, but he was surprised at the time he was making. He wasn't even breathing hard and he was already rounding the courner at Wild Gate and now on Garrison Road.

"Hey! There he is!" Shouted the first of the gate guards. Who left their post and began chasing after Ciroth.

A quick look over his shoulder revealed two other Militia Guards were with them. As well as a Well Armored Knight. Tyr's pride and joy. Leading the pack after Ciroth.

"Oh boy." Ciroth thought to himself. As he ran past The Drill Fields he set the first part of his plan into motion. He tossed one of the purple potions behind him. The idea was to throw off the guards into thinking he ducked into the Drill Fields, but the potion did something he didn't expect it to. It exploded when it hit the ground.

Ciroth felt the force of the wind from the explosion on his back. He turned his head to see what was going on, he saw a cloud of smoke, and that the potion went flying a bit too far to the left. The Militia were gone, probably lying dead from the explosion, but the Well Armored Knight and the Gate Guards were still hot on his trail, and now shouting angrily.

"Why can't you catch him?!" Shouted the Armored Knight.

"Hey, don't rag on US, ok, Pops?" The first Gate Guard fired back. "If it wasn't for us, you would have went the wrong WAY!"

"Hey, at least he's not banging your friggen wife anymore!" The second Gate Guard said to the first.

"Guys, FOCUS!" Shouted the Armored Knight. "Let's get this Militia Killer!"

Ciroth was now on River Street, and out of their line of sight. He took off His Flowing Robes Of The Dragon and dropped them onto the street. This was the second part of his plan. He needed to be harder to spot. He saw River Gate just ahead. River Gate looks more like an art momument than anything else, but this time it was a site of pure beauty to Ciroth. Planting one foot, and still running on pure adreline he jumped and practically leaped past the Gate Guards in River Gate who barely saw him.

He was out of Tyr, now. and only the Well Armored Knight had the authority to pursue him. Ciroth ran down the trails towards the Fairy Rings. He was getting close but all those cigarettes were starting to make breathing hard.

"Almost there..." It was taking will power to keep running at this point. He looked over his shoulder. The Knight was not to be seen, but Ciroth knew he was coming. He was jogging now, passing the Crystal Geyser, and the nest of birds.

And there was part three of his plan. Tarris of Orodreth! He sure was glad to see her. They high fived each other as he passed. Ciroth stopped and began catching his breath. Tarris stood silent, her gaze fixed ahead; waiting.

Ciroth was looking towards the Fairy Rings breathing heavily. He wanted to jump into one of them badly. But stopped himself. This was almost over. That's when he heard a great crash. The sound of metal on metal. Tarris was fighting the Well Armored Knight.

Ciroth wiggled his toes, and felt a little better. He unsheathed his blades and jumped towards the knight and sank a dagger into the Knights ribs. Tarris was keeping the knights attention and moving around with grace, daggers flying landing every blow with tremendious power. Ciroth ran past her, throwing dirt into the knights eyes, and stabbing him harsely. The knight swung his sword and slashed angrily, but to no avail. He soon went down in a heap as Tarris darted out of site only to come back planting a dagger in his back.

"S-U-C-C-E-S-S is how I spell SUCCESS!" Ciroth shouting in a kind of singing voice. "Thank you, Tarris, for the back up!"

"No problem at all." She said. Ciroth followed her into the fairy ring back to Keltrath.

He watched Tarris fade away and then felt himself fade away as well. In a flash he reconized the park around the fountain back in Keltrath. Tarris lead him to Karame, where Ciroth informed him he completed his quest. Karame nodded and handed him his reward, part of it being a certificate for two practice sessions with his guild trainers. A pretty good reward.

Feeling tired, Ciroth thanked Tarris again and said goodbye, he headed for his guild, and laid down to sleep.
